I know our baby is already here, but I thought it would be fun to do one last "pregnancy check-in".  I was induced at exactly 39 weeks because my blood platelet count dropped dangerously low.  Here is how I was feeling when I hit that 39th week...

Week: 39

Some of the highs and lows from Week 39:

Baby Boy Dunn is the size of a watermelon!  He weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces, and was 21 inches long at birth!

Really missing sleeping and being comfortable.  The last couple of weeks were absolutely terrible.  No matter what I did, I was constantly uncomfortable.  That created lots of meltdowns and mood swings-yikes!

Belly button is a half outie.  No change there.

Super excited about finally meeting our son!

Total weight gain…22 pounds.  At my 39 week check-in at my OB's office, I had officially gained 22 pounds throughout this pregnancy.

I’ve been very emotional.  Being uncomfortable and on bedrest made a mess of my emotions.  I was just so ready to not be pregnant anymore and to finally have our son in my arms.

Symptoms: Tons of Braxton Hicks contractions, back pain, and lower abdominal cramping.  I still loved soaking in a warm bath every night before bed!

Food aversions?  None.

Food cravings?  Fairlife chocolate milk.  I've been obsessed with this chocolate milk since my second trimester.  So yummy!

While I was pregnant, time seemed to crawl by at a painfully slow pace.  However, looking back at my pregnancy now, it seems like just a couple of weeks ago we found out I was expecting!  I can't believe we finally have our baby 🙂
